As part of a vehicle booking request or confirmation, we may collect the following data:

Surname and first name
Date of birth
Nationality
Postal address
Email address
Phone number
Driving licence number and date
Identity document or passport

This data is collected for a single purpose : to allow the establishment and execution of the vehicle rental contract. It is in no way used for any other purpose. Communication with our customers takes place mainly via WhatsApp, by phone or by email.

No online payment is made on this website. Payment for the rental is made in cash, on handover of the vehicle.

Legal basis for processing

The processing of your data is based on theexecution of the rental contract to which you are a party, as well as on the pre-contractual measures taken at your request. The collection of certain data (driving licence, identity document) also meets the legal obligations associated with making a vehicle available.

Retention period

Your data is kept for the period strictly necessary for the management of your rental and for compliance with our legal and accounting obligations. Beyond this period, it is deleted or archived in accordance with the applicable legal time limits. Data from requests that did not result in a rental is kept for a limited period, then deleted.

Recipients of the data

Your data is intended solely for the internal departments of Dablal Cars in charge of managing bookings and rental contracts.

We do not sell, rent or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes.
Your data may be shared with our insurer only in the event of a claim, strictly to the extent necessary to handle the case.
It may also be passed on to the competent authorities when the law requires it.

Your rights

In accordance with law 09-08 and the spirit of the GDPR, you have the following rights over your personal data:

Right of access: obtain confirmation that your data is being processed and receive a copy of it.
Right of rectification: have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
Right of objection: object, on legitimate grounds, to the processing of your data.
Right of erasure: request the deletion of your data, subject to our legal retention obligations.
